SAFETY RISK MANAGEMENT PLAN (SRMP)

The SRMP of TIME AFRICA Ltd aims at identifying and evaluating potential risks from the onset through recruitment processes; monitoring work progresses in order to mitigate or minimize any negative impact on operations. Below is the synopsis of Time Africa’s SRMP.

Process flow: Safety Risk Management Plan Outlined

Level1:

Candidate assessment and competence certificate

 

Entry medical examination

 

Induction (including site-specific ones)

 

Task-specific training

Level 2:   Operation/Comprehensive risk assessment

 

Conduct site-specific risk assessment (Issue-based)

 

Safe operating procedure / safe work procedures for all activities

 

Monitor compliance as work progresses

Level 3:   Day to Day Operations

 

Conduct daily toolbox talks

 

Use pre-use inspections for equipment

 

Conduct a continuous risk assessment

 

Conduct daily and random alcohol test

 

Monitor compliance as work progresses

Level 4:   Action Plan/ Planned activity

 

Provide a maintenance schedule for equipment services to ensure efficiency and equipment availability

 

Establish Planned Task Observation and Visible Felt Leadership.

 

Conduct Internal Health, Safety and Environmental compliance audit.

 

Conduct Weekly Management HSE meeting with employees.

 

Conduct planned inspections.

 

Establish HSE awareness programme

 

Conduct Internal training.

Level 5:   Commitment and impact of assessment

 

Establish a  policy outlining the company’s obligation and employee compliance.

 

Establish Legal HSE appointments indicating Management commitment including Supervisors.

 

Ensure Roles and responsibilities are clearly defined for Supervision.

 

Establish Golden rules clearly depicting the ‘Dos and Don’ts”.

 

Establish an  Emergency preparedness and response plan.
